Debut day! It's extremely slow in my other life right now, which is absolutely phenomenal for kicking off spring. And I am 1000% taking advantage of all this new time.
This past Saturday I had an absolute BALL joining Team Dniym for my first 48 Hour Film project. Quite literally - genres were assigned Friday, we met for the first time and shot for about 12.5 hours, and it was submitted on Sunday. So really it was more like 30 hours. MAR. A. THON. And we made a movie!
In the film, titled Last Will, I play Claire, a hospice nurse who isn't quite what she seems. It will premiere this coming Saturday, May 7, in the 5:15 pm group at the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center in Silver Spring: http://silver.afi.com/Browsing/Movies/Details/m-0100000563 (possibly with a red carpet? I don't know! Exciting :)
Also in May, I'll begin rehearsals for James McLindon's I DON'T KNOW, directed by Anne Donnelly - one of 18 ten-minute plays playing in repertory throughout this spring's Source Festival in June and July. More information and a full schedule can be found here: http://www.sourcefestival.org/ten_minute/ten_minute.html
(and did i mention I met David Tennant in April? That was a trip worth taking. He's every bit as awesome in real life :) Official fangirl bragging rights achieved :P)
